It is a tour and a tale that will open the doors of palaces for you, and open your senses to the charms and secrets of the King’s Copenhagen.
Our knowledgable guides tell this tale amidst the Rokoko architecture of Christiansborg and the corridors of the Prince’s Palace. We delve into the narrow city streets to hear about the wild year of King Christian VII, befor his meeting with Dr. Struensee – not least through his passion for fearsome ”Boot Katrine”. The story ends at New Square the King’s justice was meted out to unfortunate sinners.
It’s a fateful episode of the countrys history, and one of the great royal love scandals of Europe in the age of Kings.
