# CouchDesign Collaboration journey to France

Mid November 2017 we go to France
to attend a conference,
visit friends,
and establish new friendships.

Interests:
We are both involved in Free Software,
with a special interest in [design][] and [customized][blends] systems.

Travel:
We enjoy the pace of train rides,
and like it for environmental reasons too.
This journey is done using Interrail tickets.
Thanks to [Purism][] for sponsoring Jonas' travel costs!

Hosting:
We much prefer visiting our friends privately,
and bring sleeping bags.
Thanks to Francois and his family for hosting in Southern France,
to Brice and his family for hosting in Paris,
